01 July 2015 These files are the merged completed line lists from the /atoms directory augmented by the old, not yet updated, ions from /linelists/gfall. There are files for air wavelength, vacuum wavelength, and wavenumber. There is a "completed ions" button in /atoms that produces a listing. When new ions are completed or mistakes are corrected the files will be updated, as often as every day. There are mistakes. If you find one, please report it and it wiil be corrected. Some of the /gfall files are old and out of date and have obsolete notation. I will get to them as soon as I can. I will take advice or suggestions. 02 July 2015 For the time being references in the *.all files must be looked up in the *.lab files for each ion in /atoms. 04 July 2015 The VALD database (Vienna Atomic Line Database) has much more recent data than /gfall. The website is now located in Uppsala, vald.astro.uu.se 19 Sept 2015 Added many ions. 28 Sept 2015 Replaced 2903 lines because of errors caused by jumbled energy levels. 18 Feb 2016 Ti I and II and Cr I and II replaced. 05 June 2016 Ca IV-IX, Sc VI-IX, Ti VI-IX, V VII-IX, Cr VIII-IX, Mn IX, Fe I, Fe X, Co VII-IX, Ni IV, Cu V, Zn VI 2023210 lines with good wavelengths are in gfall05jun16.dat 400008720 predicted lines for all ions that have been computed thus far (/atoms/completed.txt) are in gfpred05jun16.dat. VAC and WN and more compact formats will eventually appear. The gfall* and the gfpred* line lists are to be used together for computing opacities. Work is continuing on heavier and lighter elements. 22 Oct 2016 F IV-VI, Ne IV-VI, Na IV-VI, Mg IV-VI, Al IV-VI, Si IV-VI, S IV-VI, Cl IV-VI, Ar IV-VI, K IV-VI, Mn II, Cu I-X, Zn I-IX All KP Kurucz and Peytremann (1975) and K88 Kurucz (1988) (iron group) calculations have been replaced. 2.11 million lines with good wavelengths, including heavier elements from /gfall which have not yet been updated, are in gfall23oct16.dat . 544 million predicted lines for all ions that have been computed thus far (/atoms/completed.txt) are in /gfpred/gfpred23oct16.dat. VAC and WN and more compact formats will eventually appear. The gfall* and the gfpred* line lists are to be used together for computing opacities. Work is continuing on heavier elements. 09 Dec 16 Fe I updated. Mg I has new lab data. 2113804 lines with good wavelengths in gfall09dec.dat 15 Dec 16 Found new Co I lab data in my input pile that had been overlooked so I put it in. Also Mn I files from 2015 had not been copied to /atoms/2500 by some mistake but are in the linelists. 11 Aug 17 New Cr I, Ni II, Y II lab data, *.all files. New Fe I, Sr II, Zr I-III, Nb I-II, Mo I-II, Ru I-II, Ba I-II. 2.16 million lines with good wavelengths in gfall11aug17.dat. The predicted line lists for 11Aug17 have not yet been merged. Work is continuing on the heavier elements. 8 Oct 17 2.31 million lines with good wavelengths in gfall08oct17.dat. The predicted line lists as of 08Oct17 have not yet been merged and sorted. There are about 300 million 4d lines and a total of about 850 million atomic lines. New Nb III, Mo III-IV, Tc I-V, Ru I-V, Rh I-V, Pd I-II.
