I am currently concentrating on updating the atomic line list (Kurucz, R.L. Can. J. Phys. 89, 417-428, 2011). I will redo the molecules after the atoms. The goal was to have the best data for interpreting high-resolution, high signal-to-noise observed spectra, and to have more complete, lower quality data for computing opacities. In some cases I was able to determine energy levels from the observed laboratory line positions that necessarily reproduce the line positions regardless of rotational fits or perturbations. (The molecules were treated the same way as atoms.) Both the upper and lower energy levels are always given in cm-1. Predicted energy levels are listed as negative so the absolute value must be taken. The air wavelengths are not accurate far in the infrared but in practice the wavenumber of a line is always computed from the difference in energy levels.
